MIA AND ME, Nuova serie Rainbow

Yoko, Mo & Me è il titolo della nuova serie firmata Rainbow!

La serie è una coproduzione Rainbow e M4E (già coproduttrice della quarta serie di Winx Club e di Huntik, oltre che della nuova serie PopPixie).

& ME and names co-production partners

Grünwald, Munich, 1st December 2009 - The Grünwald-based brand management
and media company m4e AG gives the green light for the start of production
of the TV series YOKO, MO & ME. The series emerges in co-production between
the Italian production studio Rainbow S.p.A. (among others 'Winx Club',
'Huntik'), the Canadian animation studio March Entertainment (among others
'Dex Hamilton', 'Playmobil CGI Movies') and Lucky Punch, a joint venture
between Professor Gerhard Hahn and m4e AG in Grünwald. Gerhard Hahn,
founder and chief executive of Hahn Film AG in Berlin (among others
'Asterix in America', 'Bibi Blocksberg'), will be acting as executive
producer. Negotiations with a German TV channel as a further co-producer
will shortly be completed. More information on this will be made known
soon.

This fantasy-adventure, whose production budget stands at around 12 million
US dollars, will be elaborately produced at a number of locations in
HD-quality and is a mixture of real film and CGI animation. The TV premiere
of the first season with 26 episodes of 24 minutes each is planned for
2011. A second season with a further 26 episodes is already being planned.

The m4e subsidiary Telescreen B.V. as well as Rainbow S.p.A. will take on
world distribution of the series and will be presenting YOKO, MO & ME for
the first time in a big way at the movie and TV trade fair MIPCOM in
October 2010 in Cannes.


Di questa serie sono già previste due stagioni: la prima andrà in onda nel 2011.

Il titolo per ora è “YOKO, MO & ME”, sottotitolato: "Guardians of the last Unicorn".

Ecco un po' di trama:

Milly non riesce ancora a crederci: Yoko, l'eroina di un videogame può parlare con lei attraverso il monitor del computer.

Suo padre, il programmatore del gioco, ha modellato Yoko sull'immagine della figlia.

Ora Yoko chiede a Milly di andare con lei a Zentopia, il mondo del videogioco. Senza Millly, lei non ha nessuna possibilità di salvare gli ultimi unicorni dal terribile Goron e dai suoi uomini-drago.

E non è un sogno! Da ora in poi, Milly entra nel mondo parallelo del videogioco come una figura in 3D. Così lei combatte fianco a fianco insieme alla sua controparte del videogioco Yoko e insieme al bellissimo Mo contro i sicari di Goron mentre nello stesso tempo prosegue la sua vita di tutti i giorni a Berlino. Esistendo in entrambi i mondi, Milly deve occuparsi delle sfide che ciasun mondo le mette di fronte.

Comunque

Ma non con Code Lyoko c'entra nulla. Alla fine Code Lyoko è una serie maschile, questa è rivolta a un pubblico femminile e non solo: da quanto abbiamo letto dovrebbe essere per entrambi maschi e femmine, ciò spiega anche la presenza di Mo, il protagonista maschile, nel trio.

Poi la realtà dei computer esiste ben da prima di Code Lyoko.

Tra l'altro nei vari articoloi trovati sul web si parla sempre di serie live-action mista a cartoni animati in 3D... però l'immagine messa sembra in 2D!

Da quanto abbiamo capito finora:

Sì pure noi li troviamo molto carini tutti e tre!

March Entertainment to Co-Produce Yoko, Mo & Me

German distribution and media company m4e AG has greenlit production on a hybrid live-action/CGI children’s series called Yoko, Mo & Me.

The series is a co-production between m4e, Hahn Film, March Entertainment and Italian studio Rainbow S.p.A. The character designs and backgrounds will be made in Germany, the live action segments will be shot in Italy, while the writing, CGI production and post will be done in Canada.

This fantasy-adventure, whose production budget stands at around $12.6 million (CAN), will feature an elaborate mix of film and CGI animation in HD.

A German premiere of the first season (26 x24') is slated for 2011, and a second season is already being planned.

Worldwide distribution will be handled by Rainbow and M4E subsidiary Telescreen B.V. They will be presenting Yoko, Mo & Me for the first time at MIPCOM in October 2010.


Praticamente questo articolo spiega un po' come sarà organizzata la coproduzione:

I disegni dei personaggi e gli sfondi saranno fatti in Germania, le sequenze live-action saranno tutte italiane, le sequenze in CGI e postproduzione saranno canadesi.

Tra l'altro l'articolo non lo riporta ma la sceneggiatura è affidata a un team inglese e tedesco.

La distribuzione sarà tutta Rainbow e Telescreen B.V. (che appartiene alla tedesca M4E).


Chissà se questa serie sarà prevista nel Rainbow MagicLand.
